Lumina - Nadir
Ceiling lamp consisting of a cup made out of satinated extra-bright glass, which is fixed to the ceiling, for diffused light and a lighting body of opaline acid-frosted glass, hanging from the centre of the cup, for direct downwards light. A version for decentralized mounting -without the central cone- is also available. Both pendandt body and ceiling cup can be switched on and off independently.
Lorenzo Stano and Lumina created a pendant that in its three versions can adapt to various needs and solve a wide range of problems. The standard version is made of a wide glass cup touching the ceiling as a ceiling light and gives a diffused light to the whole room thanks to incandescent (or energy saving) bulbs. A glass pendant originating from this cup element holds a halogen lamp of up to 150 W and can be used as main light or as central light over a dining table. Two switches located in a panel above the pendant control the two elements independently. The decentralised mounting version allows installation of a pending element in a different position if the light point on the ceiling does not correspond to the better position with regards to the furniture. The lamp is equipped with a cable reaching up to 4m 90 cm length. The Solo version, without ceiling diffuser, gives a concentrated light on the table and has a remarkable decorative function when used in a two or three element combination above large dining tables. Nadir means choosing beauty and harmony and represents sometimes the only choice for solving peculiar plant situations in a fast and bright manner.
