With its soft and flexuous lines and a strong and definitely feminine image, this wall lamp designed by Walter Monici is based on the shape of Polynesian dugout. The steel arms bend naturally from the solid wood or nickel-plated metal stem and sustain a technological bulb socket hidden by two layers of sandblasted and curved glass which can be tilted independently the one from the other. Provided with a linear halogen lamp and continuous regulator, Ayla is a diffused and reflected light lamp and can be used in a bedroom as well as in a living
room, whereas the wall fixture version can be used for lighting large rooms.
